Cream butter and cheese with salt and pepper. Add sifted flour.
Roll into 1" wide cigars. Slice the cigars into little rounds, and place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake in a 350-degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until light brown. Remove from baking sheets before they are cold. Sprinkle lightly with cayenne pepper.
Makes about 100. May be stored in tightly covered container.
