ABOUT THE CREATORS
Dorothea "Dottie" Benton Frank was a beloved New York Times bestselling author of twenty novels who the New York Journal of Books correctly describes as, "an author who never fails to entertain." Some of her adult books include Queen Bee (2019); By Invitation Only (2018); and The Last Original Wife (2013). She is the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from The College of Charleston, a Doctorate of Fine Arts from Bloomfield College and an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from the Charleston School of Law. In 2015, she was inducted into the South Carolina Academy of authors and has been honored many times for her work raising awareness about domestic violence and for her community service. She and her daughter Victoria Benton Frank joined forces to create their first book together, based loosely on Victoria's son Teddy.
